The with much love constructed German-speaking (English-speaking) Guest House Mandala Beach is located in the south of the Pearl of the Indian Ocean in the former hippie village called Hikkaduwa. Mandala Beach is located directly on the sea with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean.

This well-maintained guest house is located in a very quiet location. By the shimmer of sea water, a breeze rustling the leaves gently in the wind, the palm leaves and the numerous, marvelous sunsets creates a harmony that cannot be described in other words.

Mandala Beach is located in the surfer's paradise. Directly in front of our guesthouse you will find the legendary reef break surf point and right beside it there is the main point. Surfers can jump into the waves and enjoy life to the full.

About Hikkaduwa

The former hippie paradise Hikkaduwa is located about 100km from the capital Colombo in the South of Sri Lanka. Many local bars and restaurants adorn the village and the beach.

Hikkaduwa offers a wide variety of water sports. Surfing, body-boarding, diving, snorkeling, wakeboarding are among the most popular sports activities.

The stunning beach offers pure relaxation for the guests’ convenience.

The legendary beach parties are very well-known in Hikkaduwa. Parties under the palm trees in the moonlight, the shimmer of the waves, a gentle sea breeze and delicious drinks beautify any party night.

The party spots are within walking distance from our guesthouse. In Hikkaduwa there is a large number of small shops that offer souvenirs, articles of virtu, paintings and wood carvings.
